Langsteris
Langsteris is a window cleaning business run by Mantas Narkevicius: based in Vilnius, working across Lithuania. Until now every enquiry arrived through a listings portal, and quotes went to clients as a Word document.
The challenge was not to build a modern site but to build one that would not put people off. A cleaning client does not compare design - they want to know what it will cost, who is coming into their home and whether there will be trouble. The typical site in this trade looks dated, but it gets one thing right: it is plain and easy to follow.
So we stood out through order rather than effects. The premium feel comes from typography and spacing; the trust comes from prices and conditions stated up front instead of hidden behind a phone call. We did not reinvent the wheel - we took what the old pages do well and did it properly.
A four-page site with the price on the first screen - from 1.40 €/m². No square metres needed to ask for a quote: a few photographs of the windows are enough. What is not included is written down too, along with the minimum order and when travel is charged. Reviews are left as they are, the ones below five stars included.
The technical side is finished properly: the main mobile image went from 369 KB to 61 KB, page CSS from 493 KB to 245 KB, fonts moved to our own server, and cached pages are served in 17-26 ms.
SEO: Lithuanian titles and descriptions on every page, structured data carrying the real prices and reviews, the sitemap submitted to Search Console, and the Google Business Profile tied to the site. Robots.txt deliberately admits named AI crawlers - visibility inside AI assistants was a conscious second priority. The owner was left a plan for what comes next: the Google profile, separate pages for separate searches, and local directories.
What sets it apart from other sites in this trade is what those sites usually leave out - the price, the limits and the conditions, stated openly. The site launched recently, so there is no traffic or ranking data yet; we will add it to this case study once there is.
